Vivo V9 price Nepal, Is it worth ? In-depth review.
Getting a flagship phone around 35k Nepali rupees that is around 350 US$ is not a joke. And if you are not an one brand sticky, you should probably need to give it a try.
Vivo V9 AI selfie expert phone has 37,790 price in Nepal. And it is available all over the country from April 2
Whatever I write below is not based on my personal experience. Since Vivo V9 has not been officially launched in Nepal yet, so I have not got hands on it. I will probably try to get the hands on it, once it is officially available.
With the initial watch on it through another countries counterpart, I am writing what I like and what I did not as my in-depth review. I will try to post my hands on review once it is available in Nepal.
Vivo V9 the good (pros)
Maybe the fact that I am a trend lover, that notch will be the best part of Vivo V9. It seems like an iPhone X with the notch at the top. Pretty much inspired from Apple’s new flagship. And the trend is always good.
The 19:9 aspect ratio with IPS display is the star of the show. Good experience watching videos and the stunning sharp images.
You will find the good, above par performances with the selfie expert camera. Camera is something Vivo is most relevantly focusing on. Though AI power camera is focused in effects only. It has also the 4k video shooting mode for the high quality videos. Yet I believe, AI sensor could go little more depth. And the aperture could have been slightly better f1.9 if not f1.7. There’s another iPhone like features Live Photo which captures 15 second motion before taking any photographs. AR features, bokeh mode, panorama and more. In conclusion, one can not complain the camera. You can satisfy with what Vivo has focused to make the camera performances good.
Next on, Music. Vivo had previously come up with the tagline “camera and music phone” its still on music. Vivo V9 price Nepal can justify its music quality. Therefore, V9 is equipped with very good speaker that is loud and clear.
In conclusion, I can summarize the good verdicts in below points.
- iPhone like notch at the top
- 6.3″ full HD IPS display with 90% screen to body ratio.
- 19:9 aspect ratio display
- Bokeh mode camera.
- Live photo.
- Great selfie with 24 MP camera.
- Game mode. can block everything while gaming.
- Depth and AI sensor with secondary back camera for HDR and other effects.
- Face unlock features. This also enables the app unlock facility.
- Finally, the snapdragon processor.
Vivo V9 the bad (cons)
The pros are enough for the Vivo V9 price Nepal. But It could have been better. The device with the boost of the ‘flagship’ should have gone with the processor to support at least DDR4 RAM.
The build quality with the plastic cote is another dissatisfaction factor for me. If not the glass form, metal uni body could be an option. With the iPhone look a like notch and the plastic seems like not matching.
DDR3 RAM because snapdragon 626 does not support DDR4.
Battery 3260 Mh capacity but lack the fast charger. And the same old micro USB charging plot is another disappointment. Come on, Type C is the future buddy.
In conclusion, let me summarize the cons in the list below.
- The build quality.
- DDR3 RAM
- Camera aperture should have been at least f1.9
- Lack of fast charging.
- Micro USB charging point. Type C is the future.
- Plastic uni body.
- Face unlock just a software. AI inclusion camera could go bit depth.
Finally, I wanna wrap up this. Maybe, I will come up with more details once it is available in the Nepali market. But before wrapping up, let me tell you should you buy this or not?
